**before I get emails....I don't know where you can find any Abe's, sorry. If not for a very sweet friend who shared a couple with me I wouldn't have any either. I will say you can make a copy of the best Abe picture from the book and print it onto the photo paper...which was my option. We are allowed to copy the book for personal use only, so it should be fine to do so.
What great blocks...hope your hand is getting better.

ReplyDeleteI wondered how everyone was getting those 'Abe's' into their blocks. I figured they were inking them with a Pigma pen. Live and learn *s*
ReplyDeleteI read on someones blog that the author is sending pieces of the Abe fabric if you purchase the pattern DVD from her. Not sure about that, but I seem to remember reading it.
ReplyDeleteBut WOOHOO! I found a piece of the Abe fabric in a shop this past weekend! I had been looking for it, and didn't see it, but I picked up a bundle of reproduction FQs in the clearance bin. I bought the FQ bundle, and last night when I got home and opened it up, I found that one of those FQs was the Abe fabric!!! The shop definitely didn't have any on the bolt, and the bundle I got was the last one of that grouping, so I think I got the last bit of it :-)

Wow, those look great! My favorite is the one in the upper right corner, I like the positive/negative thing there. :)

I love your blocks! They do look labor intensive, but I'm glad there is no hand sewing. I'm so excited to get started on these, too... I peaked and know I'm getting the books for Mother's Day! ;)
