Tree's a poppin'...

After a sewing debacle yesterday that involved several hours of un-sewing 3 sections to get back to where I goofed, I have finally finished the tree blocks. So much for quick sewing! If you make one of these make sure to keep the parts in order...the right order! Not backwards order. You'll be sorry if you goof...I promise you! You can't just reshuffle the fabrics. *S*

Imagine another row on the bottom. Didn't quite fit on the design wall! Now off to sew the rows, then stop and rest for the night.

  7. Your trees look wonderful. I have really enjoyed making this quilt too. I agree there are some tricks to making it and I didn't realize some of them till after I sewed a few blocks. I also decided to make my quilt bigger so need to make more blocks!
Yours are so perfect... lined up beautifully.
Lets just say I decided mine will be folk arty trees :)

  23. What cool trees and how neat that you could include them in your blog banner line!

Those sort of remind me of some I saw on Simply Quilts recently but they added white on half of the tree sections so it looks like snow on them--not sure now who the guest was since I was watching a pile of episodes as I sewed the other day.
