And with being able to make it ahead that way, I can take some to work easily too. Oh, here's a little tip that I DO use for lettuce and salads to keep them a little longer--put a papertowel in the bottom of the bowl (or a zipper plastic bag). It will absorb the liquid but hold it in the papertowel so that salad won't get wilty or dry.Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05365964667029948020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129049276793098387.post-45202063983406033052009-10-07T15:10:16.237-04:002009-10-07T15:10:16.237-04:00I agree with Thimbleanna.....it's the work req...I agree with Thimbleanna.....it's the work required that makes it taste so bad at home! But I can get over it if I have to.

I'm telling ya, you are going to love that wallhanging when you get it finished. I better get mine out and get a picture of it soon so I can post about it. Last year's picture was at a bad angle and the lighting was off. Sadly, you still have chopping required! ;-)Thimbleannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03650582809426872051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129049276793098387.post-57623964413425686222009-10-06T08:20:24.790-04:002009-10-06T08:20:24.790-04:00That's a cute Cheri pattern - I just love ever...That's a cute Cheri pattern - I just love everything she does *s*Libbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17872055894285312153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129049276793098387.post-83300060263303506242009-10-06T08:00:25.893-04:002009-10-06T08:00:25.893-04:00I love a chopped salad - I call it a garbage salad...I love a chopped salad - I call it a garbage salad because I put everything in mine.
